The gorgeous Toca TODJ-8CK 8" Origins Series Djembe Celtic Knot is an impressive instrument that looks as good as it sounds, thanks to its decorative carvings. It's made of a single piece of solid mahogany, which was grown on an environmentally friendly plantation. In fact, the entire production process can easily be labelled as eco-friendly.. Finally, every TODJ-8CK is carefully milled to guarantee consistent shell thickness, and thus consistent sound.
TODJ-8AM: custom insides
The inside of the TODJ-8CK was given a very specific design. Toca did everything they could to craft a djembe with deep and rich bass reproduction, and they sure succeeded! The inside of the shell features lathed grooves and a rough surface, resulting in rich bass with little to no unwanted overtones. Furthermore, the goatskin drumhead and traditional rope tuning system complete the picture. Thanks to its solid yet lightweight design, the TODJ-8CK is a great choice for children or for use in drum circles!
